Beginner-friendly weekly summer yoga series — move with fire, find balance, restore deeply & reconnect with self through creative reflection
About this Event

Summer sadhana is a 3-part yoga, breathwork, meditation, and creative reflection series for moving through summer with more intention, balance, and self-connection.

Theme
Summer sadhana: fire, balance, and restoration

Summer can bring expansion, movement, possibility, and creative energy — but it can also bring overstimulation, pressure, emotional intensity, and burnout.

This 3-part summer sadhana series is designed as a low-pressure, beginner-friendly space to explore yoga as more than a workout. Each monthly series includes weekly classes with gentle to moderate yoga, pranayama, meditation, and creative reflection to help you build a more intentional relationship with your body, breath, energy, and inner life.

June: Awaken your inner fire

A summer solstice practice for courage, creativity, and heart-led action.

July: Embody your balance

A Hatha yoga practice for steadiness, focus, and inner equilibrium.

August: Return to your inner well

A restorative practice for replenishment, integration, and nervous system renewal.

Each month is its own 4-week series and can be attended individually, or experienced as part of the full summer journey.

This summer, we’ll work with the symbolic energy of the Fire Horse year: a time associated with movement, transformation, courage, momentum, and authenticity. Rather than pushing ourselves to do more, this series asks:

How do we work with intensity without burning out?
How do we stay connected to the heart when life moves quickly?
How do we balance action with rest?
How do we create a practice that supports our real lives?

Who it's for

You do not need prior yoga experience, flexibility, or a regular practice to join. All bodies, backgrounds, identities, and experience levels are welcome. Variations will be offered throughout class, and you are encouraged to listen to your own body.

Each class includes accessible movement, pranayama, meditation, and creative reflection to help you connect the practice to your real life.

Come as you are. Move at your own pace. Leave with practical tools for grounding, self-awareness, rest, and inner balance.

What to bring

A yoga mat
Water
A journal or notebook
A pen
Comfortable clothing you can move and rest in
Any props you like, such as blocks, blanket, bolster, or cushion
