The Family Herbalism Class Series is designed to empower you to confidently care for your family’s health using time-honored herbal traditions. As more people begin to question the limitations of Western medicine, many are seeking a return to nature for healing. At the same time, fear around illness and disease has grown, leaving many families unsure of what to do to support health.
This series bridges that gap, teaching you how to use plants as the first line of support.
Bring your pen and paper, you’ll learn practical, grounded ways to address daily health, and learn how to build a home herbal medicine cabinet that is in-sync with what nature provides, and is growing outside your door.
Each class has a different theme that is timely to the season. Through all the classes you'll receive teachings on herbal actions, how to begin to understand an herb's action by its taste, various ways to prepare herbs, and how to address issues at home when they first arrive.
Family Herbalism is about reclaiming knowledge, strengthening intuition, and cultivating self-reliance, while understanding when additional support is needed. It’s an invitation to step into empowered, informed care for yourself and those you love.
Candace Anthony began on the path of herbal medicine 2010, studying both clinical herbalism and southern folk medicine. She utilizes herbs as the primary way to care for her family, including her three children, and brings this experience to her teaching. The herbal knowledge she shares is practical and includes approaches for all ages, giving families tools to support their health. She also serves her community as a Birth & Postpartum Doula.
