Glassblowing Is Back! - Summer Edition

The Scottish Maritime Museum is delighted to offer Summer Glassblowing Sessions. This popular workshop is open to everyone, whether you're an experienced glassblower looking for new ideas or a complete beginner wanting to try something exciting.

Never worked with glass before? No problem! Our friendly scientific glassblowing expert Robert will show you everything you need to know and help you every step of the way.

We want everyone to enjoy themselves and have the chance to learn something new or get better at what they already know. We'll provide refreshments and all safety equipment at no extra cost.

These sessions also make a brilliant gift for someone special. Give them the chance to try something unique this summer and make beautiful glass pieces they'll keep forever.

1) Summer Glassblowing Workshops £60 per person per session

Perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics in this hands-on 2-hour session. Glassblower Robert will teach you the essentials in a safe and welcoming environment.

Sessions run twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 1st July to 29th August, 2pm to 4pm (Wednesdays), maximum 2 persons per session, 10-12noon (Saturdays), maximum 2 persons per session.
