🌿 Weave Your Own Nut Basket – Half-Day Workshop 🌿
Take a step back from the rush of daily life and immerse yourself in the mindful art of basket weaving
📍Where: Room @ Courtyard Eglinton Country Park (previously the Visitor Centre)

🕙Time: 9:30pm until 1:30pm

Join me for a relaxed and sociable half-day basket weaving workshop and create your own beautiful and practical Nut Basket.
This shorter session is designed to be accessible and enjoyable, with the basket framework (ribs and jig) prepared in advance. This means you can focus on the creative part of weaving, using a simple over-and-under technique to build your basket.
You will be making a slender, boat-shaped basket, perfect for holding small treasures such as nuts, fruit, or everyday finds or simply for the contents of your pockets. Each basket will naturally take on its own unique character as you weave, with the opportunity to work with a selection of willow to create subtle colour and texture variations.
Guidance will be given throughout, helping you confidently shape and complete your piece. You will leave with a finished basket that is both functional and handmade by you.
Suitable for beginners and those with a little experience. This is an ideal introduction to willow weaving or a gentle next step for anyone wanting to build confidence and skills.
Please note that willow weaving does require some hand strength and dexterity, but the session is paced to be supportive and achievable.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
At We Are Nature, we understand that sometimes plans change. However, as our workshops require upfront costs for materials and preparation, we have the following cancellation policy in place:
Cancellations made 14 days or more days before the workshop – You will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 14 days and 7 days before the workshop – You will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop – No refund will be given.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person. Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to do so.
