Teju will share tips on what to glean from reference photos so you can shoot beauties from your garden or local florist and translate them into expressive paintings. She’ll explain the characteristics of watercolor and discuss the similarities and differences between transparent water color and gouache. Get hands-on experience while painting along with Teju and explore the important watercolor techniques of layering, blending, and water control.
