Rising 9th-12th Graders: 1 pm - 3 pm
$120 PER STUDENT
“Formed By Hand” will take place July 20th-24th from 1 PM to 3 PM. This camp is tailored for rising 9th-12th graders. Instructor Ellen Royal will explore and refine your student’s understanding of ceramic handbuilding techniques including pinch, coiling, and slab building. Artist highlights for this week include Lorien Stern, a ceramic artist who creates colorfully patterned pieces centered around the celebration of nature, and Maria Martinez, a well-known Pueblo potter who revived thousand year old cultural pottery-making processes important to the indigenous Pueblo people.
