Muddy Buddies (Yayoi Kusama) w/ Kortney Woodie
Rising 1st-4th Graders: 10 am - 12 pm
$120 PER STUDENT
“Muddy Buddies:Yayoi Kusama Inspired Handbuilding” will take place July 27th-31st from 10 AM to 12 PM. This camp is tailored for rising 1st-4th graders. During this session, instructor Kortney Woodie will teach various handbuilding techniques including coiling, pinching, and slab building. Designs created during camp will be inspired by Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese contemporary artist working primarily in sculpture and installation who creates fun and colorful immersive art with focus on her signature dot patterns. Main projects for this week will include pinch pot whistles, tic tac toe boards, and coil animal pots/cylinders.
