Learn the Loom w/ Carol Patton
Rising 5th-12th Graders: 1 pm - 3pm
$100 PER STUDENT
“Learn the Loom” will take place July 27th-31st from 1 PM to 3 PM. This camp is tailored for rising 5th-12th graders. Instructor Carol Patton will review several types of weaving looms and how to fuse together different types of yarns and fibers to make woven creations such as wall hangers, dream catchers, bookmarks, and more! Students will learn how to properly use frame looms, circular looms, pin looms, and a few uncommon looms with an artist highlight on Anni Albers and how she turned the perspective on woven arts from traditional craft to fine art.
