Succulent Planting Class for Kids

Let your kids get creative and learn all about succulent plant care in this fun, hands-on planting class in LA! Designed for children ages 5–12, this succulent workshop is a great way to spark curiosity and a love for nature.

The session begins with a brief introduction to the world of succulents led by our friendly staff — what they are, where they come from, and what makes them unique. Next, kids will watch a live demonstration on how to plant and care for their succulents before getting to create their own.

Each child will choose a planter, select their succulents (with assistance from staff), and decorate their mini-garden with colorful rocks, moss, and other fun touches. Every young gardener will head home with their own living creation and simple care instructions to keep their new succulent friends happy and thriving.
