Voiceover Masterclass | Manchester | Saturday 12th September

Here Talents Voiceover Masterclass returns to Manchester, where it all started. Since 2023, Manchester has been the home of our intensive voiceover development, and we're bringing the proven format back to 80Hertz Recording Studios.

Whether you're starting out, complimenting another performance discipline, or looking to strengthen or refresh existing skills, this Masterclass gives you the techniques, insight, and practical toolkit to move forward.

Led by Alex Griffiths (Voiceover Account Manager and Here Talent founder) and Fiona Boylan (professional voiceover actor, producer, voice coach, and founder of Cakehole Productions), plus an expert sound engineer.

The day will cover:

• Understand the importance of vocal health and maintaining your voice
• Explore vocal and microphone techniques
• Break down scripts and tackle sight reading
• Live direction in the booth with commercial and narrative scripts tailored to your casting
• Discover your vocal identity in relation to a range of casting breakdowns
• Discover what makes a strong voiceover reel
• Insight into the business of voiceover (including agents, sourcing work and rates)
• Honest feedback, open Q&A, and take-home three recordings for continued development

Following the session, we'll stick around for an informal networking plus Q&A (and a well-deserved drink)! Previous networking sessions have included guest speakers from Equity.
