Toastmasters Meeting at Didsbury Speakers (improve your public speaking)

Join us for an inspiring evening of public speaking in Manchester at Didsbury Speakers! We meet at the welcoming Withington Golf Club, just off Palatine Road, where you’ll be greeted by members from 7pm. The bar will be open, offering drinks (including tea, coffee, and alcohol) and snacks before we kick off promptly at 7.30pm.

Our evenings are split into two engaging halves. First, you’ll hear members deliver prepared speeches they've been working on: ranging from humorous and heartfelt to thought-provoking and persuasive. Then, after a short refreshment break, we dive into Table Topics, our fun and fast-paced impromptu speaking session where anyone can have a go at speaking off-the-cuff!

Each part of the night includes thoughtful evaluations, encouraging feedback, and of course, the awarding of ribbons for Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, and Best Table Topics participant.
