Stronger Together: Community & Police
About this Event
Stronger Together: Community & Police
Join us for an open and respectful conversation between community members and the police as we explore how to build stronger relationships founded on trust, understanding, and mutual respect.
This is an opportunity to share experiences, raise concerns, and discuss practical ways to improve communication, accountability, and collaboration. Together, we can work towards a safer, more inclusive community where everyone feels heard, valued, and treated with fairness and dignity.
Your voice matters. Let's listen, learn, and build trust together.
About BMECP
At BMECP, we exist to create a sustainable and inclusive resource centre that champions the voices, wellbeing, and development of Black and minority ethnic (BME) communities and their families. As an infrastructure organisation, we support a wide range of grassroots community groups across Sussex—helping them strengthen their governance, develop sustainable practices, and improve access to funding opportunities.
Our work is rooted in equality, social justice, collaboration and hope. We aim to create spaces where communities are heard, supported and equipped to thrive.
