Stride with Pride: Owen Beach at Point Defiance Park
About this Event
Join us for an after work stroll along the waterfront! We will start from Anthony's restaurant parking lot near the Point Defiance marina and walk to Owen's Beach along the promenade. We'll keep our eyes peeled for wildlife on this flat, paved 0.79 mile one-way trail. Depending on the tide, we may walk along the beach once we reach the end of the promenade which may involve navigating over sand/rock and fallen branches. Expect 1.6 - 2.5 miles total.

Gear Needed: sturdy shoes, day pack with 10 essentials, food, water, extra layers, sunscreen. Prepare for sunny, hot, cold, rainy, and/or windy weather and check forecast before you hike.
