Spring into an immersive story as you stroll along the pages of delightful tales of nature's specialties such as birds, flowers, and wildlife. We invite you to stop by the hearth room and curl up to read some nature-based children's books after the walk.
Registration Infromation: Registration is not required for this program.
Activity level: Easy-active, self-led walk outdoors if the ground has thawed on even gravel/asphalt trail or indoors if the ground is frozen.
Meet Us: The storywalk begins outside of the front doors of the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center and continues around Pollinator Prairie. The walk will be set up during business hours: 10am-5pm
What to Bring: Good walking shoes, appropriate winter clothing, and water.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains are available inside the visitor center. Ramps are available to access all areas of the visitor center. The beginning of the path is aggregate paved and transitions into a cement paved path.
Accommodation: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to these events for all participants.
