Minnesota 52 Hike Challenge - March Group Hike

What: March 52 Hike Challenge - MN Chapter | Group Hike

When: Saturday, March 22nd @ 1:00pm
Where: Richardson Nature Center & Hyland Park, Bloomington, MN
Trail details & ability level: Approximately 5 miles of trails. The trails are rated easy and takes approximately 2hrs to complete, HOWEVER, with winter weather and potential snow on trails, this may take longer, and we will pace ourselves to accommodate the possibility of varying trail conditions. Being able to hike at/around 2mph would be good for joining this hike.
We will be mindful of weather conditions before this hike, to ensure everyone's safety. This includes temperature, snow, and road conditions. If there is a cancellation necessary, we will try to do so within 24hrs of the day of the hike.
What to bring: Weather appropriate clothing (layers are best!), sunglasses, consider boot crampons/yaktrax for any icy conditions and better traction, a daypack or similar with water, personal needs, the Hiking 10 essentials, a snack, and a positive attitude!
Due to a larger group setting, no dogs or pets unless they are working/service animals.
Parking: Parking and admission is FREE!
Meet in the Richardson Nature Center Parking Lot - The parking lot is in front of the Nature Center Trailheads.
