DetailsJoin refuge naturalist Craig Mandel for a discussion about the 45 species of Ducks, Geese and Swans that have occurred in Minnesota. You will learn which species can be found on the refuge and when and where to search for them. You will also learn which field marks to look for, in order to correctly identify each species of Waterfowl. Registration required on signup.com.

Activity Level: Easy-active, we will be sitting in a temperature controlled classroom setting.
Meet us: Meet inside the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center.
What to bring: Bring comfortable clothing to be indoors. Outdoor clothing is recommended for those who would like to explore trails after the program.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains are available inside the visitor center. Accessible parking is available at this location. Path to the classrooms within the Visitor Center is on flat, aggregate flooring.
