Stories We Carry Time Capsule Building
About this Event
We invite neighbors and friends to take part in a Time Capsule building workshop. Kids will be encouraged to practice creativity, while looking inward and exploring memories that they would want to share with their future self. Each child will be able to create their own “shoebox style” time capsule, from decoration of their box, to adding the contents, and sealing them away for future discovery.
The 20*20 House Gallery will provide all the materials for the construction and decoration of each capsule. Kids can either bring items to include or plan to add items at home. The Gallery will provide craft paper and writing utensils for the children to write letters to their future self, as well as drawings, and other paper submissions.
