About this Event
Some events are born from joy. This one was born from love — and from loss.
In October 2025, our community lost Allan D. Marcelle in a house fire. He left behind people who loved him deeply, a sister's whole world, and a gap that cannot be filled.
The Stop, Drop & Run (Walk) 5K was created to honor Allan's memory, support families who’ve lost loved ones to fire, and make sure that tragedy becomes a catalyst for change.

Why We Run (and Walk)
A portion of every registration goes directly to supporting Pittsburgh families who have suffered the loss of a home to fire — families who, like Allan's, may have no safety net to fall back on. Your registration is relief. Your steps are solidarity.
