Meetup @ 8am in parking lot by Nature Center. Hike begins ~815am

🚘 Parking: lot, ample parking
💲: Admission is $6 per adult, $3.75 for SC seniors (age 65+), and $3.50 for youth (ages 6-15). Children 5 and under free. No cost with a SC State Park pass ($99 annual or rent one from local library)
✅️: Bring an adequate supply of water and snacks / food. This is a MUST.
🌤: Beat the heat & humidity. 70s to start; 80s-low 90s by end.

All hikers - meet at the Table Rock State Park Nature Center (by lake).
*** Challenging. Requires mental fortitude and grit. Must be able to do 5+ miles with steep inclines. ***

Description: The Stool Mountain Trail is a strenuous to very strenuous hike, gaining over 1,500 feet in elevation as it climbs through stream valleys, boulder fields, and rock overhangs to the summit of Stool Mountain. The elevation at the summit of Stool Mountain is 2,615 feet. The trail provides unique perspectives of the main face of Table Rock Mountain as you hike. Once at the summit, spectacular views of the Table Rock Reservoir spread out before you. The trail is approximately 2.7 miles in length (5.4 miles total hiking to the summit and back). The hike begins at the Table Rock Nature Center before splitting off from the Carrick Creek Trail. Blue over white paint blazes mark the trail all the way to the Summit of Stool Mountain and back.
