Kits ship every Thursday starting April 16th, 2026. Have your kit (s) delivered to your door or choose to pick up in person and come explore the wonders of the wetland here at the ELC! Kits ordered on Wednesdays may not ship out until the following week on Thursday.

The ELC is offering a Spring Into Nature Kit to keep children busy all spring long. The kit is mailed to homes and has all the supplies to learn, create, and play! We have kit booklets in English and now have bilingual kit booklets in Spanish/English! If I Were a Dragonfly ELC Coloring book is bilingual English/Spanish.

Spring Into Nature and create your very own Robin's nest, watch seeds come to life, and read and color in the If I were a Dragonfly-ELC coloring book.

Go on a springtime scavenger hunt, play an animal babies matching game and make an Eagle's nest in your living room or backyard!

Kit contents: Explore & Play cards, materials to create your own Robin's nest, crayons and If I Were a Dragonfly-ELC coloring book, springtime scavenger hunt, Magic Blooming Flowers activity, Baby Animal Hide & Seek, Eagles nest activity with string, Scarlett Runner Beans with soil and cup, Baby animal memory game, and pencil.

The ELC’s Nature Spy Explorer Kits are sent right to your door and have all the supplies your budding naturalist will need to learn, create, and play. Engaging crafts, fun facts, and playful activities will help them discover the natural world that surrounds them – from the comfort of home and neighborhood! Kits are designed for children ages 4-8 (we hear that older children enjoy them too!). This year, kit materials are also available in Spanish/English.

If you are not completely satisfied with your Nature Spy Explorer kit, we would like to know about it!

We will accept return requests within 48 hours of opening the kit, with written explanation of why you would like to return it. If something is damaged, please include a photograph. We will fully refund you, if you are not satisfied.

If you would like to cancel your explorer kit order, we can issue a full refund, less a 10% processing fee, up to 4 days prior to the scheduled shipping/pick-up date.
