Schmeeckle Reserve's first Spring Celebration will be Sunday, May 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. This celebration is sponsored by the Friends of Schmeeckle Reserve.
The event theme is "Sounds of Spring."
Get your face painted, meet live raptors, explore hands-on discovery stations, enjoy snacks for purchase, make crafts to take home, and hike the trails to complete the event scavenger hunt. Arrive and leave when you like!
Cost: Suggested donation of $4/person or $10/family helps fund future programs and events.
"Sounds of Spring" programs: Family-friendly programs will be presented along the Trail of Reflections in the form of promenade theater. Participants will be led along the trail to meet different characters. Performances will take place every fifteen minutes beginning at 1 p.m. Hike pre-registration is required.
