Did you know that the forest has its own form of tide pools? Ephemeral ponds or vernal pools are vital ecosystems that pull a disappearing act. Meander over to the Parkway Shelter on Wednesday, April 22, at 6 pm as we dive into how these ponds are created and how both amphibians and other wildlife utilize them. As quickly as they appear, they vanish, so don’t miss out on chance to see these ponds before they’re gone. Please be prepared for a short walk to these ponds! Presented by Hannah Scherwinski.
