About this Event
This free community workshop, hosted by Guy Castley from the School of Environment & Science at Griffith University, Gold Coast will cover the following topics:
- Glossy + feed tree ID - Identification of Glossy Black-Cockatoos by sight and sound, how to differnentiate females, males and juveniles, Glossy Black-Cockatoo ecology and behaviour, and identifying and recording feed trees
- How to register for the Great Glossy Count and make your sightings matter!
Who Should Come
This event is open to everyone β nature lovers, volunteers, birdwatchers, bushwalkers, photographers, anyone interested in participating in the Great Glossy Count and anyone curious about the conservation of a vulnerably listed species.
