Join us on Tuesday 5 May at 7pm at the iconic Gold Coast City Jazz Club for a sensational evening of live jazz as The Lady & The Sax take the stage alongside a world-class rhythm section featuring Graham Lockwood on keys, John Conley on bass and Rodney Ford on drums.The established professional duo The Lady & The Sax showcase the sensational vocals of Cherryn Lomas together with the superb saxophone and clarinet talents of Eddie Bray. Formed in 2017, this dynamic pairing ooze talent and charisma and have built an outstanding reputation and loyal following, particularly around their home town of the Gold Coast. Their exciting blend of Jazz, Swing, Pop and Blues delivers stand-out vocals and soaring saxophone performances that ignite every audience.
Expect to hear timeless classics including “Winelight,” made famous by Grover Washington Jr., “Minor Swing” by Django Reinhardt, along with favourites such as “Oo Poppa Doo,” “Days of Wine & Roses” and “Misty,” just to name a few. With this exceptional combination of talent on one stage, it promises to be an unforgettable night of captivating vocals, masterful saxophone and irresistible swing.
