Splash Lab Morning
Join us for Splash Lab Morning at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center.
This free community event invites young children to explore water as a material for play, discovery, and experimentation. Children will use cups, scoops, funnels, and simple tools to pour, fill, empty, compare, and test what water can do.
This is not a swim event. It is a sensory-rich, hands-on exploration designed for young children who love water play, movement, and discovery. Families are welcome to join their children as they investigate flow, volume, cause and effect, and joyful summer play.
Featured child activity: Water pouring station with cups, scoops, funnels, and floating materials.
Children will move water between containers, experiment with pouring and flow, and explore simple questions like: What floats? What sinks? What happens when I pour slowly? What happens when I use a funnel?
Children may practice: Cause and effect, Sensory exploration, Motor coordination, Early science thinking, Problem-solving, Cooperative play
Event details: Free and open to the community, Ideal for young children and their families, Hosted at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center in West Linn
Children may get a little wet, so families are welcome to bring a towel or change of clothes.
Come splash, pour, test, and play with us.
