Join us for a Diwali celebration with a difference as Maharaja Drinks brings the spirits of Goa to Cinnamon Bazaar for a guided tasting.
Hosted by Adam Jacob, Co-Founder of Maharaja Drinks, the evening will explore the people, places and stories behind Goa’s drinks scene, from traditional feni to contemporary gin, vermouth and rum.
Guests will enjoy a guided tasting of five drinks, with canapés served throughout the evening.
We’ll begin with Davana White Vermouth , served as a light aperitif to start the evening, before moving onto Goenchi Coconut Feni , one of Goa’s most distinctive traditional spirits.
Next comes Broken Bat , a characterful Goan gin with an unusual connection to Indian cricket, followed by Maka Zai Tribute Edition , a rich, smooth Goan rum.
To round off the evening, we’ll finish with Ouro de Goa , a spiced cashew feni that pairs beautifully with dessert and brings the tasting to a warm, distinctly Goan close.
The five pours offer a journey through Goa’s drinks culture, from heritage spirits to a new generation of producers putting a modern spin on Indian ingredients and traditions.
Maharaja Drinks is a UK-based Indian drinks emporium founded in 2023 by a group of friends led by Ipe and Adam Jacob. The team travels across India to meet producers, visit distilleries and discover drinks with a strong sense of place, provenance and craft.

Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event start time. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Maharaja Drinks reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or make changes to the event where necessary. If the event is cancelled by Maharaja Drinks, you will receive a full refund. If the event is postponed or significantly changed, you will be offered a full refund or a ticket for the rescheduled event where applicable.
Tickets may be transferred to another guest over 18 years old before the event by contacting us.
