Learn to Spin with a Drop Spindle with Nessa and Sofia of Four Otter Craft Studio.
Discover one of the oldest textile skills and learn how to turn soft fleece into your own yarn using a simple drop spindle.
This relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop covers the basics of drafting fibre, adding twist and getting your spindle spinning with confidence.
No experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

Muswell Hill Creatives is a collective of artists, designers and makers founded in 2014 to champion creativity and celebrate quality craftsmanship in North London.
On Saturday 17 October, it will be bringing people together to get creative at its 8th Make and Mend Festival - the 1st to be held at the iconic art deco Hornsey Town Halll in thriving and creative Crouch End.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a total beginner looking to spark a new passion, the event is your invitation to slow down, create, and connect. Visitors are invited to participate in making and mending workshops to learn new skills and take up new hobbies, as well as shopping from artists at the mini makers market.
Refreshments will be served by the Stroud Green WI and Sean's Shack which is open daily at the Hornsey Town Hall serving hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and more.
