Led by a yoga therapist and speech language pathologist, this communication based yoga class is designed for autistic children and children with developmental delays ages 4-6 and their caregivers.
Spectrum Yoga is a playful, neuroaffirming experience focused on connection, communication, regulation, movement, and joyful participation in small group. Limited capacity.
Through yoga, stories, communication activities, fall-themed poses, and a craft, children can participate at their own pace. With the use of visual strategies throughout the class, it can help children know what’s coming next, support understanding, and expressive language.
Whether your child speaks, signs, uses AAC, points, or moves in their own way, every way of communicating is welcome.
Caregivers will join their child for a shared yoga experience, have fun together, and take home strategies to support connection, communication, and regulation at home.
