We've partnered with the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club and the Wooden Boat Association of NSW to celebrate the beautiful craftsmanship and adventurous spirit of a bygone era.
From 30 September to 11 October, you can view a remarkable fleet of vessels, each over 100 years old, that have been lovingly restored and are still sailing today.
Featured Vessels Include:
Hoana (1925) – A racing sloop with an incredible story of circumnavigation.
Jenny Wren (1889) – One of Australia's oldest racing yachts.
Utiekah II (1911) – Linked to Harold Nossiter, the first Australian to circumnavigate the globe in a yacht.
Sao (1905) – A highly intact example of early 20th-century design, once sailed by Charles Kingsford Smith.
Maritimo-Katwinchar (1904) – A beautifully restored racing yacht with a storied past.
This is more than just a display! You can meet the dedicated owners who keep these boats afloat and explore historical exhibitions.
Join us for a selection of free daily activities from 1 - 6 October, including boatbuilding and maintenance demonstrations with our Fleet team.
