Creative Workshop: Gel Printing Photography

Be inspired by the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and the museum's scenic surrounds as you adventure on a photo shoot in and around the museum. Explore harbour views through the camera’s lens as you go on outdoor photo shoots and master the art of shooting various subjects in different environments.

Then! Experiment with gel printing techniques to transform your photographs into colourful, wearable works of art. Take home your newly handprinted t-shirt decorated with your very own photography design.

Suitable for all experience levels.

• Please arrive to the registration desk in the museum foyer 5-10 mins prior to the program.
• Parents/carers will be required to sign permission forms on the day.
• Participants are fully supervised for this program.
• Participants should bring their own lunch/snacks, and wear suitable clothing, sturdy shoes and sun protection for any time spent outdoors.
• All workshop materials are supplied including cameras, if kids would like to bring their own clothing to print on they may, otherwise a t-shirt will be provided.
• Participants will have access to all the museum's programs including special performances and exhibitions.
• No printed tickets are necessary, we will check in via guestlist.

Please note if you need to cancel your tickets after purchase, the museum will provide flexibility to re-book for a future workshop where possible.

However should the museum cancel the event you will be entitled to a full refund.
