Speaking Confidence Workshop: Trusting Your Voice

Join us in person for a fun and interactive workshop on how to trust your own voice. Whether you're nervous about presentations or just want to sound more natural, this session will help you find your true voice and speak up with ease.

We'll cover:

• mindset shifts to overcome speaking anxiety
• practical exercises to help you think quickly on the spot
• the daily practice you need to develop your voice

This workshop will include a combination of perspective shifts, impromptu speaking exercises, and specific vocal exerices to help you get to know your own voice - and use it!

About the instructor:

Tricia Veldman, MS CCC-SLP is a local spoken word poet and professional speech coach with over 9 years of experience helping individuals overcome their deepest fear: public speaking. Having considered herself frustratingly timid for most of her life, Tricia battled her own speaking anxiety and now has the privilege of guiding others to do the same. She gave a TEDx Talk in 2023, shares weekly guidance on her YouTube channel, and recently published her first poetry book.
