Spanish Sports Day
About this Event
Even though this is a Spanish event for our culture and nostalgia, EVERYONE is welcome to join us, learn, and connect with our people! The dress code is sports or comfortable clothes, so be ready to run and exercise 🏃➡️
Tickets are free but uppon arrival there are different fees
12pm - 2 pounds
1pm - 5 pounds
2pm or later - 10 pounds
📍Location: 18 Hemsley St M9 4AU (when you get there search for "Play Area David Lewis")
🅿 Free parking available anywhere near the park
📅Date and Time: 4th of September (susceptible to be changed to the 5th of September) , event starting at 12:00pm
Expect good music, foods and drinks, content, great people and amaizing vibes.
Games that will be available:
El Pañuelo - A neutral person holds a bandana in the center, says a number out loud, and the two assigned participants run to take it to return to their base without being caught
Balonpie - Its basically baseball but played with a football and instead of a bat you use your feet to hit the ball
Polis y Cacos - The Polis catch the Cacos and take them to J*il, while the free Cacos can rescue their trapped colleagues
Carreras de Sacos - Bag race
La Cadena - One player starts by chasing the others. When someone is caught, they both hold hands to form a chain that must catch the rest, adding members until everyone is caught
Bulldog - One or more players chosen as "bulldogs" stay in the center and try to catch the rest of the group as they cross from one end to the other.
Sillas Musicales - Musical chairs
Saltar a la Comba - Jump rope with the capacity of 4 people jumping at the same time
Tug of War - We end it off with Tug of wars
