Every Day, 11am, Alan Turing Memorial (Sackville Gardens).

Your guide will be wearing a BLUE coat (pictured), with the Free Manchester Walking Tours blue/yellow compass logo. Please be vigilant of impersonators.

Join us to discover Manchester’s top-attractions - as well as hidden gems only known by our native English-speaking Mancunian guides.

This is an entertaining and informative adventure that includes something for everyone - whether you’re a new visitor, or familiar with the city.

Plus the tour offers fantastic photo opportunities, the chance to meet new people, and all our guests are offered our unique list of insider recommendations.

Expect to visit: Manchester Town Hall, National Football Museum, Royal Exchange Theatre, China Town, University of Manchester, Gay Village, Manchester Cathedral, Rochdale Canal, Palace Hotel, Manchester Central Library, John Rylands Library...

Manchester is for everyone! These tours are run on a tips-only basis.We receive no financial subsidy or support. Visitors may pay what they think it is worth at the end of the tour. There is never any pressure to tip.

WHEN:

Days: EVERY DAY (excluding Christmas Day and New Years Day)

Start Time: 11am.

Length: 3 - 3.5 hours. (including a 15-minute break)

WHERE:

Begin: Alan Turing Memorial, Sackville Gardens, opposite Esquires Cafe, near Canal Street. (Postcode M1 3BH)

End: Exchange Square, opposite Oyster Pub, near the National Football Museum. (postcode M3 1BD)

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Ours tours run in ALL weather: an umbrella is recommended.

Private tours are possible - please get in touch.

School groups and large parties (8+) must contact us in advance.

The tour is wheelchair accessible. I always try my best to accommodate other needs (eg hearing/medical) just contact us beforehand, or let us know at the beginning of the tour.
