About this Event

Join our free monthly meetups and community of South Asian women who want to make friends, listen and/or rant about shared experiences!
We're kicking off the year with chai, conversation, and connection at Cafe Neruda in Brunswick! Whether you're new to Melbourne, been here forever, or somewhere in between, come hang out with fellow South Asian women who get it.

This is your chance to meet your people - the ones who understand the specific joy of finding good samosas in Melbourne, who can laugh about family WhatsApp forwards, and who are navigating life between cultures with grace (and sometimes chaos).

No agenda, no pressure, just good vibes and real conversations. Bring your stories, your sense of humor, and an open heart. We're here to build genuine friendships, share experiences, and create a little community corner that feels like home.

First-timers especially welcome! We promise warm faces, warmer chai, and the kind of energy that makes you feel like you've known everyone for ages.

Can't wait to meet you!

Location: Cafe Neruda, Brunswick

Vibe: Cozy, casual, and all about connection

Come as you are. Leave with new friends.

If you identify as a South Asian woman, then this one’s for you! We're building a community that you can lean on and in which you can explore your experiences as a South Asian woman in a safe environment. This is NOT therapy. It is a peer led and run community support group.

This meetup is free.

Hope to see you there!
