SOUTH 30 & 31/01/2025 - Team Teach Level 2 - Hyfforddiant Lefel 2

Limited to 24 participants. Team Teach Level 2 is a 12-hour training program that teaches positive behaviour management strategies for medium-risk settings:

Audience: Designed for people who support individuals with challenging behaviours

Topics covered: Includes understanding challenging behaviour, social and legal context, personal safety, teamwork, de-escalation, and positive handling techniques.

Participants learn how to:

• Understand the drivers and motivations of individuals who may become aggressive and disruptive
• Build team confidence around supporting behaviour
• Use a toolkit of holistic strategies for de-escalation and crisis intervention
• Understand relevant legal standards and expectations related to use of force
• Gain a detailed understanding of the drivers behind behaviours of concern
• Gain a detailed understanding and development of skills within positive handling techniques.

Attendees need to provide their Team Teach certificate number as part of the booking process as well as their own individual email address.
