Spend the afternoon in the beautiful setting of the Found Gallery in Brecon, making your own brooch; use a combination of needle felting, sewing or embroidery (no experience required), with the Community Shawl as our inspiration - you can arrive a little earlier to see the whole 'threads' exhibition on the ground floor before coming down to the workshop space.
Please feel free to bring any favourite threads, embellishments or beads to use in your creation.
Spending time being creative with textiles is a gentle yet powerful way to spend a mindful and joyful time with others, listening or sharing, enjoying some time out and making your own textile brooch.
