🦁Journey Beyond Sound invites you to Sounds of Summer: A Meditative Sound Bath Journey | Lionsgate Edition | San Rafael - an evening of guided meditation and immersive meditative soundscapes inspired by the 8/8 Lionsgate Portal. Celebrated each year on August 8, the Lionsgate Portal is recognized in spiritual and astrological traditions as a powerful time for heightened awareness, personal growth, reflection, intention, and new beginnings.

Nestled in the peaceful hillsides of Lucas Valley, the Church of the Nativity provides a beautiful sanctuary for this special 8/8 journey. Relax comfortably as master sound practitioners Sean David and Belinda Salvidge, featuring her stunning vintage Parisian violin, with Sanaz Sounds and her beautiful Crystal Tones singing bowls and roaming ensemble of instruments.
🎶Together, this trio creates an evolving meditative soundscape using crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, symphonic gongs, chimes, Native flute, hand drums, shamanic rattles, string instruments, and other resonant tones. As the sounds gently wash over you, you’ll be guided into a space of deep relaxation, mindfulness, quiet reflection, and inner stillness.

Inspired by the Lionsgate Portal, this special sound journey offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, set meaningful intentions, and embrace new possibilities. Through guided meditation and immersive sound, you’ll be invited to create space for clarity, personal renewal, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Each Journey Beyond Sound offering is thoughtfully curated around a unique seasonal or inspirational theme, creating a fresh experience for both first time and returning participants.

Sean David is the founder of Journey Beyond Sound, specializing in the creation of immersive sound bath events, guided experiences, and orchestration of transformative sound journeys. Belinda Salvidge is a member of Journey Beyond Sound, a musical teacher and Violin master of 30 years. She is a master sound healing practitioner, and originally hails from Sussex England

Episcopal Church of the Nativity in North San Rafael is a very welcoming space for many types of spiritual and wellness experiences. There is a lot of open space up in the hills, nature surrounding, and the inside is a wonderful venue for our offering. Journey Beyond Sound 2026 pictured above.
