Join us for a deeply immersive sound bath (offsite!) at The Awakened Center on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 4:00-5:15pm. This soothing journey will use crystal bowls, gongs, and harmonic tones to calm your mind, ease your body, and restore emotional balance.
This wellness event is presented by the LAB^4 community curation team. Team 3 presents a series of exhibitions and events from April 28 - June 20 exploring community restoration and the role that creativity plays when things break. Team 3’s "...When Things Break" programming plays with the idea that when things are broken or out of our control, one way to respond –– and ultimately heal –– is through art; whether by viewing art, or creating it ourselves.
This event will be offsite and located at The Awakened Center is located at 17 Applegate Court. Suite 9 is located in the Lower Level.

What to Expect:
Zero gravity chair provided, bring a yoga mat and bolster if preferred.
Once you arrive, you'll be greeted into the space and be shown where to settle in. Zero-gravity chairs will be used to allow for a more comfortable experience. After a brief introduction, the session begins with a short centering to ground into the space. Krista plays singing bowls, gong and a variety of instruments for powerful vibrational healing.
Meet your Facilitator:
Krista Pfohl, owner of The Awakened Center LLC in Madison, WI, is a Certified Sound Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Access Bars, and Theta Healing practitioner.
She first discovered the power of sound healing by attending a sound bath with one Saturn Gong. It was an incredibly powerful experience, and she immediately fell in love with the modality. Being called to explore, she began incorporating crystal singing bowls with her Reiki sessions and eventually, curiosity grew into offering sound baths. After 9 years of honing the craft, she is excited to offer these restorative sessions that help people transform their energetic and mental landscapes (and beyond)!
Krista continues to offer regular public events as well as individual sessions, private groups and private events. She is passionate about offering consistent and affordable opportunities to help people to regain balance in their everyday lives.
