Each session focuses on calming the nervous system and reestablishing harmony within; allowing you to open to new thoughts and beliefs grounded in your own truth.
Realign your energy on all levels (emotional, physical and spiritual) as Joanne, “Jo,” Adducci and Krista Pfohl guide you on your journey of Self-discovery and growth.
How It Works:
Activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS):
Downregulated breathwork helps shift the body from the sympathetic state (fight, flight, freeze) into the parasympathetic state (rest, digest, repair). This is your body's natural recovery mode.
Regulates Heart Rate & Blood Pressure:
Slow, deep breathing—especially with extended exhales—slows the heart rate and reduces blood pressure, both of which are elevated during stress.
Improves Vagal Tone:
The vagus nerve is central to calming the body. Practices like box breathing, 4-7-8 breathing, or coherent breathing improve vagal tone, helping your system stay resilient and recover faster from stress.
Releases Tension in the Body:
Breath is intimately connected with muscle tone and emotional holding patterns. Conscious breathing can soften areas of chronic tension—often where trauma is stored.
Creates a Sense of Safety:
Trauma often leaves the body in a constant state of hyper-vigilance. Breathwork acts as a signal of safety to the brain, especially when paired with a calm environment, allowing the body to feel “okay” again.
