About this Event

Meet spring bumble bee queens, including possible endangered rusty patched, and enjoy spring ephemerals with bumble bee expert Judy Cardin. Judy and her husband Bob have transformed their yard to primarily native habitat. The oak woodland backyard is carpeted with spring woodland flowers in early May, and has trails that provide great views.

Accessibility Note:
This garden has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. The front yard includes a gentle slope with sidewalks and grass pathways. The backyard features a paved patio with seating and wide, wood-chipped trails through the woodland area. There is one step down to the patio and a set of wide stairs with railings leading to the lower garden; assistance is available for those who may need it.

This event has a maximum of 30 participants. It is reserved for MAMGA members who may bring one guest.

Rain date Friday May 15, same time and location.
