SOUND BATH MEDITATION
About this Event
Lie back, close your eyes, and let the sound do the rest.
Barbara McAllister leads an immersive sound bath using Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs and chimes. There’s nothing to learn and nothing to do. You settle onto a mat, get comfortable, and let overlapping tones and vibrations move through the room and through you. Most people drift somewhere between deep rest and waking meditation, and leave feeling quiet, spacious and unhurried.
The Woodland Rhythms Exhibition brings Barbara together with visual artists Sandy Kay and Kathy McKnight for this special event in the Gallery. This experience has limited space and Barbara’s events sell out quickly so book soon to ensure your spot - experience the resonant sounds surrounded by art inspired by the Sunshine Coast forest.
Proceeds from ticket sales go to the BC Forest Foundation.
No experience is needed. If you’ve never done anything like this before, this is a good place to start.
