Sound & Vision is a fun, hands‑on workshop where young people explore how music and visuals work together. In just 45 minutes, participants create their own short audiovisual piece using simple digital tools — no experience needed.

4 SEPARATE 45 MINUTE WORKSHOPS STARTING ON THE HOUR FROM 10AM.

Experiment with:

• Manipulating short video clips
• Adding colour, motion and glitch effects
• Building a basic soundtrack using sampler pads and effects
• Pairing sound and visuals in a mini live performance

The session is energetic, accessible, and designed to spark confidence and creativity. With Music Generation Kilkenny’s mobile recording studio, young people get hands‑on with exciting music and visual tools with guest facilitator: Visual Artist Paul Mahon.
