About this Event

SoulScape: how to make, use, and maintain everyday altars with Juli Levine at The Local Art Gallery on Sunday, August 2, from 1-3pm.

Embrace your intuition, intention, a little nature, and a bit of magic to make a meaningful space for yourself. With Juli's guidance you create an altar that is a reflection of you: your unique beliefs at any given moment in time. Explore the ancient Japanese wisdom of Wabi Sabi: The acceptance that nothing is perfect and nothing is permanent.
Please bring 2-3 items found in nature and 2-3 items that have personal or spiritual significance to you. These should be tangible representations of your soul, your heart, your mind. Juli will also provide an assortment of items to select from and complement your chosen objects. For the workshop only, Juli will also provide a choice of vessels to define the space of your altar and contain the energy for what you create.
Enjoy recreating your altar at your home! One can be made anywhere: a mantle, a windowsill, a table, a shelf!
Let’s get started . . . Join Juli in giving yourself permission to create some calm amid the chaos.

$75. Ages 16+

Limited seats, so reserve today!
