Somatic Practice themed STONES & PILLOWS

Facilitated by Adelene Stanley, whose warmth is known in the Movement x Wellness communities and by our regular session attendees, this event is part of the Changing Room Project founded by National Geographic Explorer Thammika Songkaeo, who passionately unearths the mind-body-clothing-consumption connection with collaborators.

For two hours, participants can expect Adelene's deep knowledge of movement to allow participants to find their flow amid the hardness and the softness, like stones and pillows, in their body. With curiosity, compassion, and a lot of giggles, you will find that your body does and contains abilities you never knew.

Happening side-by-side with another Changing Room program, a Dance Movement Therapy session by Shi Han Chan, Adelene's session is perfect for those who are:

• more immediately curious about their bodies than in the body-mind-clothing-consumption connection (for the latter, Shi Han's session may be more in line)
• up for a great, giggly time after a period of groundedness and calmness
• wish to explore hardness and softness in the body, specifically

We hope you will join us. Participants need not have any dance training. We see so many people leave with smiles, regardless of what they did in the session.

There will be a photography on-site for this session.
