Solstice Baptism & Seed Planting Ceremony with the Mamos

On Friday, June 19th, we gather to consciously enter the Summer Solstice portal—a powerful energetic threshold leading into the peak of the Solstice on June 21st, when the Earth aligns with the highest expression of solar light. This is a sacred time of transition. A moment where intention becomes amplified, old patterns begin to dissolve, and new pathways of creation are seeded for the cycle ahead.
We are honored to be guided in this ceremonial experience by the Mamos and Zagas—the spiritual leaders of the Kogi, Wiwa, Arhuaco, and Kankuama peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia.
These Elders belong to the Tezhuna, one of the few Indigenous lineages in the Americas to preserve an unbroken spiritual tradition for thousands of years. Having safeguarded their teachings by retreating into the high mountains during the Spanish Conquest, they continue to live in devotion to Earth’s Original Law—the responsibility to maintain balance between humanity, nature, and the spiritual realms.
The Mamos (male Elders) and Zagas (female priestesses) are trained from early childhood in sacred ceremony, healing, divination, and planetary stewardship. Their role is to listen deeply to the Earth and the unseen world, and to help restore harmony through prayer, ceremony, and direct spiritual guidance.
A Personal Ceremony of Initiation
This Friday evening gathering is a rare and intimate ceremonial experience of Solstice Baptism and Renewal.
