Three hands-on workshops to teach you all you need to know about how solar power works off-grid and on.
About this Event

Join us for Solar Sundays to learn about everything there is to know about off- and on-grid solar:

☀️July 5th - Building off-grid solar arrays with Bonny Brookes of Marine Electrics

☀️July 12th - Understanding Inverters and Circuitry with Bonny Brookes of Marine Electrics

☀️July 19th - Sourcing and working with contractors, energy companies, feed-in tarrifs, financing and connecting to the grid with Selce's Solar Team.


Do I have to attend the entire series?

Come to one or all three! These workshops are designed to build on one another, but can be attended separately as you are able.

⏲️Workshops run 10 am - 4 pm with an hour's lunch break.


Are these workshops for me?

These workshops do not lead to professional qualifications, but are designed for educational purposes for :

👉competent DIYers

👉people who would like to gain practical understanding about how solar works

👉 people who would like to be able to have knowledgeable conversations with contractors.


How much do they cost?

Each workshop costs £25, but fullly subsidised if:

⚙️ you're definitely going to repair your home within the next year, OR

⚙️are interested in buddying up with other course attendees to make solar happen through collective purchasing or off-grid installs, OR

⚙️would like to attend 2 or more workshops in the DIY series, OR

⚙️ you cannot afford the fee
