Join us for a fun workshop that combines art and drinks! Learn how to document your garden and nature around you using the sun and cyanotypes, one of the oldest forms of photography. The rich blues of cyanotype create a beautiful blend of science and art. We’ll show you how to coat paper with special chemicals, arrange natural items, and create beautiful blue and white prints using only water and sunlight.
While your prints dry, you will learn to make two herbal cocktails (non-alcoholic options available). Discover the flavors and aromas of different herbs as we guide you through muddling, shaking, and stirring to create tasty and appealing drinks.
No experience is needed for either activity! We provide all materials for the cyanotypes. You'll leave with your own artwork and new cocktail-making skills to impress your friends.
Class maximum is 12 students.
Materials fee $15 + class fee $65 = $80.
