Pencil, Ink & Watercolor with Timberlee
All artistic levels are welcome. All materials (including colored pencils, ink, watercolor paint, and card stock) are provided by the instructor. If you like, bring an image that speaks to you -- something botanical or pet-related, perhaps, or a landscape. We have a few old magazines available to look for inspiration if needed.
This is NOT a “sip-and-paint” class where everyone creates the same design. In fact, we’re looking forward to a gallery of wonderfully different images by the end of class. Bring a friend, your beau or belle, or come and meet some new painting pals. Take home a piece of your own artwork that may surprise and delight you! This is a relaxed, no-pressure workshop.
Class size is limited to 10 students.
INSTRUCTOR: Timberlee Harris is an artist and board-certified and licensed art therapist in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2007 with a BFA in Illustration, she received her MA in Art Therapy and has since been working with populations such as geriatrics, bereavement, and oncology. Whether creating art within a therapeutic or educational setting, she believes that the creative process can be a powerful vehicle for insight, meaning-making, and personal growth.
