SOAL Restoration Weekends are open public history events on the third Friday-Sunday of the month, from 12pm noon until dusk, Harrisburg’s Historic Lincoln Cemetery (Susquehanna Twnshp / Penbrook) https://linktr.ee/savingourancestorslegacyCash & Food Donations needed and much appreciated! Power our volunteers and the movement to save endangered histories.
New volunteer orientation at 12pm. All ages & levels of experience welcome! We are on-site rain or shine, in the heat and cold.
This unique hands-on experience brings together community members, descendants, educators, artists, youth & elders to honor the lives and legacies of hidden historical figures—reconnecting us to untold stories, restoring a sacred site.
