The Swatara Township Police Department will be hosting their 4th annual Senior Resource Fair on Wednesday April 29th 2026 from 10am until 1pm at the LCBC Church, located at 4150 Chambers Hill Road Harrisburg, PA. This event is FREE to attend and is open to the general public. The Senior Resource Fair is geared toward those who are 55 years of age or older and/or those who are care-givers for a senior citizen. This year's event will feature over 100 vendors from around the Harrisburg area. Our goal is to bridge the gap between senior citizens throughout our community and the goods and services that exist to help them.
The Swatara Township Police Department will also offer a drug drop off at the Senior Resource Fair. Seniors are encouraged to drop off any unused OR expired medication at the Senior Resource Fair so that the drugs can be disposed of safely. We accept all prescription and OTC drugs, including liquids, as long as they are in sealed containers. We CANNOT accept any syringes (used or unused).
